She does sound kinda like a bad wheel bearing you just have to admit it ! Not sure if I could have made it sound less like dog whistles either. (The Whistle Register as referred to by my counterparts .) Marrying the head of Columbia Records didn't hurt her one bit back in the early days ... I wouldn't have included her in my joke list but the switch to Hip Hop in the late 90 made me think that the MineLab engineers may have use for her in the detector frequency selection process ????

Thinning Down The Herd ??
rvpopeye replied to scoopjohnb's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
OBN Joe I looked again and it did look kinda lumpy when plopped into that floating sifter...π§ Sounded kinda heavy too.... Maybe I need a dry suit to go out far enough to find that kind of sea bottom? π Here it typically is sand , mud or rock .Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh ! Might need new beaches ? -

I started life in the 50s , had my share of those qyroscopes. π€© Free toys in cereal boxes and Cracker Jacks were the real deal then too ! (And Slinky toys ! When did they turn to plastic ??? sad. π how are we supposed to find THEM in the future? ) Gotta call Santa 'bout that ! Maybe we could do a petition ?- 11 replies

Golden Grams Of Goodness: Nugget Shooting Stories
rvpopeye replied to Lanny's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
Lanny Author ? and poet , I guess yes. You have "the gift"sir ! I just spent almost a week reading your thread here.. and it's good to see the reboot recently , I'll be looking for your next Lanny's Gold Tales installment !! it was a good week. I had almost as much fun as you seemed to be having . (I didn't find any of the gold π) Those nice permissions and patches you've described so well will be envied by many ! There's gold here in the Northeast Corner but more beneath the beach sands than in our streams and hills. π -

Waaaaait ! I thought Santa started out delivering up close to the workshop first ! There must be a mistake. He's at the NORTH pole , not the south ! It's the other way around ?π A day earlier you say ? This news has disrupted the force. I'll need to recalculate...............π§ Merry Christmas and leave some eggnog in the bowl OK ?

Couple Of Recent Finds

It kinda looked like both to me so I threw it in as a possible. And why I described the drawer pull like I did. The gyroscope is a way cooler find IMO !- 11 replies

That last pic looks a LOT like the drawer pulls I have in my RV. They break exactly like that too. Is the back side perfectly flat and the front center part kinda set back 1/16"? Built in 1981.- 11 replies

I love critics ! Especially if they're IN the audience. But I don't have 50,000 watts hereπ Well , not my usual material ..But the joke was that they weren't pirate jokes. Ya know , cuz THEY'RE all lame.....π I don't consider myself a comedian , my specialty is snappy responses under pressure. You may address me as The Weirdo Overlord (OK , everybody just shortens it to Weirdo Anyhoo , Merry Christmas you animals ! I stole that line from Home Alone Kevin.....
