Couple Of Golds

These are my finds for the day.  Absolutely brutal out there today.  The heavy winds we blowing right into shore creating one heck of a pull out current and raised the TID by a good 3’.  The waves were tuff.  I saw about 8 other hunter but only 3 of us got in.  Coil control went out the window in the shallow especially.  Did about 4 hours and that all I wanted since I got 1 gold… 6.7 grams 10k, silver toe ring, want to be nugget ring, and a TI.  For the conditions…. a real good day.  The other was a keeper the last day of May I believe.  Beauty.

Dew, your tough as nails.         3 of us hunt PCB in the winter, 2 of us in early 70's.    Our youngest about 65.   Real good shape and has no qualms about wading rough water.     Guess who comes up with the Gold.    My buddy Dualfield and I give him big credit.    We'll go out there till we start bobbing and get splashed on the neck. Than thats it.  Getting old.

Awesome hunt. Rough waters must be brutal on the body after a while. Day off the next day I'm assuming? 😄

I take off if a crazy man won’t get in…. Or when my SO come up with projects.  Had some health issue last year and still recovering.  Before that I could do 7 hours and still go home and do a 6 mile run.  At 69 I’m a slowing down.  Today I saw absolutely NO hunters anywhere.  Lost my headphones twice to waves.  There are times ya just have tell yourself… nothing is out there and stay at the house lol.  Friday I promised to help look for a class ring.
