Again though, my main point has to do with iron bias, because with the nails sitting on top of the coin, I'm thinking the iron bias would be the main contributor as to whether or not the coin is detected. A comparison test with the MV against the top SMFs would be interesting to see. Although the settings would have to be similar / adjusted accordingly. The coil would have to be similar as well, but as far as I know, there are no concentric coils for the newer SMF detectors. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
