Steve I know that if it was me it would make me upset that someone with the skills that you have being called a novice.

I am a novice at detecting, but love to go panning for gold because I find much more with the pan than I do with a detector. Photo's coming soon with some of the gold that has been found in my area.

Better to be called a novice than some of the things I’ve been called!  Being a novice really just means a person has more to learn and I hope I’m always in that category. I’m not too worried about that as the older I get it seems the less I know.

I guess I should had stated it was another picture of a younger guy with a VLF detector before Steve’s. That’s the novice.

Steve, I am in the same category as you then, because I believe that a person should learn something every day and never give up on try to find answers to every thing they question.

Grandfather always told me that no matter how old a person gets they always have something to learn.

I am young and maybe in about another 50 years from now just maybe I will understand as much as the people before me in what I do.
