tboykin
Hey guys, been a while since I've posted. Work has finally slowed down enough for me to get out, and I got to detect some places me and my prospecting buddy Josh have been researching. I've been learning a LOT, and getting deep into research. The gold is still out there, just hard to find sometimes. Here is just under a half pennyweight in chunky Oregon gold I found on Jan 3rd, 2024. I figured it would weigh less than that but it's pretty fat and surprised me when I dropped it on my scale at home. We don't always find gold, and come home with more skunks than an Alabama bloodhound. But as a lot of you know prospecting is about a lot more than finding yellow rocks. I'll post the video if it's cool with Steve!
Valens Legacy
Congrats on the find and would love to see the video. Probably more deeper in the roots, and I know it is hard to get to all the smaller ones within those roots. Good luck and stay safe out there. Lanny
Nice find, and congratulations. It's always good to be rewarded after time away from swinging the coil. All the best, Lanny
Gerry in Idaho
Great to see you out there for 2024 and getting a little gold. Yes, a day in the field is much more enjoyable than the same day on the couch.
