Norvic
Always looking for a smart phone for prospecting with a screen that is readable in sunlight, currently using a aged Samsung Ace2 which is adequate but not ideal. Have found the use of such with mapping and zoom maxed out, one can help assure a patch is done fairly well, but the lack of clear readability in direct sunlight is a problem. Chaining in the country I prospect is a no go, too rough and you`d need a lead chain to mark the ground. Has anyone such a screened smart phone that can handle direct sunlight? Trent King
My Samsung tab S tablet works great in the sun, heaps better then the ipads. I assume there new phones with the same AMOLED display would be the same.

Azavsfan
I use a Galaxy S5 and as long as I have my bifocal polarized sunglasses on, I am good to go. It still helps to shade the screen with my hat or body.
