  1. Correction 1100 mm or 1.1 meters ooops my wife saw that post!!
  2. Its Pretty awsome, 11000mm deep, 90 minutes to dig. At my age if I was to get ma ZEED I would have to find a younger wife to dig my targets..............
  3. Good idea but I don't think it will ever happen................
  4. Most likely GPX 4500 and Garrett AT Gold working old bucket line dredge tailing piles. My GB2 and X-Terra 705 can't handle all the HOT ROCKS......
  5. Bearkat, any info on how the ATX handles hot rocks, the area I like to hunt is bucket dredge piles loaded with hot rocks. My AT Gold does pretty good but not much depth...Thanks for any info you can share.....
  6. Good Question, for the price you would think it should be better than anything else in any environment........ ............just my 2 cents worth.
  7. Hey IdAuFinder send me a PM some time and maybe we can get together up on The Yankee Fork some time.........
  8. At 73 having bad shoulders I switch quite often, I have a hydration pack with "D" rings on both sides for my bungee...
  9. I THINK THE FIRST THING i WANT TO KNOW WOULD BE THE PRICE, I SEE DEALERS ARE NOW TAKING ORDERS ON A MACHINE THAT WE REALLY DO NOT KNOW MUCH OF ANYTHING ABOUT AND DO NOT KNOW THE PRICE. ARE PEOPLE GOING TO PUT UP A DEPOSIT UNDER THESE TERMS. HAVING SAID THAT, IF JP SAYS IT WORTH WHATEVER THE PRICE IS I WOULD BELIEVE HIM..........
  10. Hey Steve, About 30 years ago I lived about 35 miles NW of Gerlach Nev. and my Dad was raised in that country. When I was a youngun about 60 some years ago I was with my Dad traveling from Herlong Ca. to Gerlach and my dad pointed out a dry lake between Nixon and Gerlach and said that when he was a kid he rode on a commercial fishing boat on that lake. He told me what the lake was called but I can not recall. So there have been some drastic changes within the last hundred years...
  11. Sunray Pro is a go- in my book, I have a very neat digging tool from Mad Mining that cuts and removes a plug and when the plug is replace it hardly leaves a trace of the dig..............my 2 cents worth......
  12. I'm all for seeing what the ML 2300 is capable of and the US pricing. On the Bendigold website they showed a Au. price of $3995...then again I might stay with my GPX 4500 that is still a great machine..............Idaho Al
  13. I have a ML 705 and a Garrett AT Gold, like them both a lot but I find the AT Gold will hit on smaller gold with the stock coil than the ML 705 with the DD prospecting coil. Tested at Gerrys detectors in Boise prior to the AT Gold purchase however the reason for the AT Gold was because I float the Salmon River here in Idaho in a 11 foot boat and therefore I needed something water proof...Just my 2 cents worth..........Idaho Al
  14. Thanks for sharing Steve, always good to hear about JP...................Idaho Al
  15. Hey Steve, I have a GPX 4500 and looking at the timing charts I don't see where a GPX 4800 has a advantage over what I already have? Is there a advantage and if so in what way? This lower price on the 4800 is sure to lower the cost and trade in value of the used 4500s. Thanks for any light you shed on this subject........IdahoAl
  16. Be safe Chris..............but enjoy,....Idaho Al
