  1. Start with SDC. For rainforest you need compact and relative lightweight machine witch ATX isn't good enough. But you can choose some more sizes of coils for ATX. This is hard choice. But in my opinion start with SDC.
  2. In my opinion this kind of coils are not any kind of issue. You can recharge fast by one AA battery or any USB power bank so... this your choice so I understand it. Lightweight, easy to operate, and new high kHz coil at first part of 2016... who knows...
  3. Ok I have Go-Find 60.... and I can n you tell straight. This is piece of junk. This is not even true machine only toy for beginners. Why? First, quality in 1 to 6 scale is 3 maximum. Poor quality plastic elements bends each side... and if this little toy get some dirty... forget about folding this. ATX construction was briliant if you compare to Go-Find. Next, very low recovery speed... machine lost singnal very often and is almost impossible to get precision placment of target... even in pinpointing mode. This is not true static mode. You need to swing all time to pinpointing! Real nightmare. I will post video soon abou it. This is good toy machine for kids, or spare machine, backup for beach or clean park site only. Design is weak part of this machine.
  4. Nice. Good job. This forum is really user friendly and human friendly
  5. You can put your patterns here or send it to my email: shelton@wp.pl and I will do it: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/02tctx0vhv9987j/AAAoonBedOhNJzSqOPDNpqZGa?dl=0 And everybody can use it.
  6. Try to find in work gear stores or take your pinpointer with you... or wear sandals! And pray for ground without sankes and thicks....
  7. You have two easiest ways. First detector with vibration and ID numbers LCD, second, hardware LED signal indicator or try to build something similar - to boost and change tones in fly.
  8. Now the best way is to comapre it to ATX and SDC. And we have clear, wide view on top prospecting market machines.
  9. So the coil is waterproof only. Ok for this price level this is fine Lightweight machine... for our ladies and kids. That is right direction Minelab!
  10. No no no. This is magic. If you know Harry Potter you know how to use it.
  11. Price is not issue. Yes you get many signals, but from gold - I don't think so. Agree Steve this idea is not good. Or other words without any precision. Maybe frame with magnetometer can discrim Fe... but they use only kind of floating coil without magnetometer.
  12. Interesting idea, but I'm not sure how good, but: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1612149212349064&set=o.1419253288301088&type=2&theater
  13. But price is not the point. You need to add all things together. Detector price, detector weight, your knowledge, safety, free time, your experience and many many more...
  14. That is true. Another issue air insurance... this is pain here in EU.
  15. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_mh4BAbk4JrDzMMQN7HGEQ Good source and another review... but with one little minus... I'm little disappointed, because, today they edit review... and remove some important section about problems with wireless headphones sound quality and signal delay. New version of video is shorter without this opinion. Someone wipeout this...
  16. I'm affraid about airport service.... you know they throw luggages and kick them like football.
  17. I can't to find one video with nice review X-pointer vs Garrett and battery drain test and some measured values by multimeter was terrible... if you compare to Garrett.
  18. Deteknix X-pointer is PI not VLF. Better for gold prospecting but has some issues... like fast battery drain etc.
