They sure lost a few. I have dug a lot of them in the Mother Lode.

Devil's Tongue Park Probe Review
CVISChris replied to F350Platinum's topic in Metal Detecting For Coins & Relics
Received the Devil's Tongue and it is stout. I used it last weekend to pop coins out of a dried up and baked hard campground. 5 stars on that tough as nails tool. -
Strick, you are doing way better than me with the DEUS 2. Been way too hot here so might have to hit the beach type spots like you.

Damn cool finds Strick. I am really liking the D2 myself.

Gold Rush Camp Finds In The Heat
CVISChris replied to ROCKINGCM's topic in Metal Detecting For Coins & Relics
Monte, I am using the X35/9" coil on the DEUS. This site has tons of flat can pieces and square nails. I don't think I would use the DEUS for park type hunting for coins but, it really does well in old sites like this. -
2nd Kennedy Dollar And A 1907 Barber With The Apex
CVISChris replied to kac's topic in Metal Detecting For Coins & Relics
I would consider that a good hunt. I have yet to find a Barber of any type. -
Hey Joe at least it looks cool there. Here in central California we are well over 100 degrees.

I have the Mi-6 and it is my favorite. It is very reliable compared to others I have used. One note is you have to have the grip of a rock climber to get the end cap off.

Yes, I have made the mistake of trying to straighten a few Relics and didn’t end well. Leonard Short Designs repairs such things. May be too expensive though. He appears to restore civil war items.
