Man, I always wanted to get one back in the mid 70's. But as a kid, couldn't afford one, so I settled on a Jetco Mustang. Then I got outta H.S. and was working, so I purchased a White's 5000-D. What I read was how the Super Pro's had superb discrimination on junk items. What is your take on it, since you own one?

They do have super disc. but limited depth by today's standard.

I had one a few years ago and used it occasionally at very trashy park locations. Yes it could find stuff amongst the trash but at very shallow depths. It is a very stable detector once setup correctly and the audio is also very good. No way can it match today's detectors but it still can unmask extremely well in trashy sites.
