Always a thrill to find an old strange coin, and 300+ year old coins really get ya, it's about the best we can do.

Glad you found the date too. Most of those oldies come up pretty toasted.

Congrats! Good on ya for digging those 70s...

Spectacular. Good chance there is more there to discover. Any idea if the site was a dwelling, Tavern....?  I sure would like to see the buckles too.

Great saves for sure, and I know that you will be finding a lot more coins from that area.

I would bring in a bulldozer and a sluice to get to them, but then I would probably make a mess of the area doing it.

I really would not believe my eyes finding something like that, and would not know how to clean them up.
