Redneck
I cashed my lead sinkers in a few years ago and got 50c a lb. Not sure the price now. Might be able to sell on craigs list for more , as some fishermen melt their own .

Valens Legacy
All I can say is Thanks for cleaning up the beaches and parks for others to enjoy. I have not been out there detecting in 2023 very much, but I never leave trash when I dig it up. Good luck on your next outings and stay safe out there. 4
rvpopeye
Target reality at it's finest ! 😯 I got a huge amount of trash last year too . But when it was time to move them into the rig for a move , I headed to the dumpster instead 🙄   I kept the lead. ( I met this old guy that said he could turn it into gold , just had a couple more things to figure out.) I told him the scrap yard opens at 7:30 and gave him directions... 2

I probably can't get 100% from the good stuff of that time range together, but I can take a photo of the coins and some jewelry, if anyone's interested.

Sinclair
Ok, this is the clad: Sorted and counted:  Doesn’t look much - but what you see on those pictures are ~ 980 coins.. 445€ and 375DM -> ~ 690$ Some silver: A little tiny bit of gold: And the oldest coin I have found on the beach so far (1640): Junkers, Clocks, Tokens, foreign coins etc. not show. That‘s from the same time range as the trash. I think I‘ve done pretty well for the winter season - we had one big storm taking away a lot of sand - thus all that old clad.
