Steve Herschbach
I lived most of my life and did nearly all my coin detecting in Anchorage, Alaska. Anchorage was founded in 1915 and most of it is much newer than that. As a result, the Mercury dime was the only "old" coin I had much chance of finding. Every one was a thrill and I still have a soft spot for them. Thanks for sharing!
Paulito
665 mercs, 6 rosies! I believe he found them in a tin can. Bad pic, but this is what he dug up right here... *edit* They have a video on Facebook too... it's fairly poor quality also, but pretty exciting! (some curse words ;) Jimi Hampton's post on facebook group page (It's a public group so hopefully it's a public video!? : "Sonora ca.metal detector enthusiast"
