Got the best birthday present ever. My grandfather's old prospecting kit.My grandfather was a lifelong prospector. He prospected in Alaska, Yukon,Montana, Idaho, California, Nevada,Oregon and Washington. He could recite most of Robert Service's poems to his last days. He passed in 97 at age 97.His name was Andrew Stevenson. Sure miss him.

Doc's Protective Cover For GPZ 7000
Sourdough Scott replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in Minelab Metal Detectors
3 things I demand on my next cover. 1. Drink holder. 2. Cellphone holder. 3.GoPro camera holder. This ought to set it far enough off on major differences. What's a few more lbs anyways. -

Ground Causing Constant Oscillation On The GPZ

I had it happen on 2 instances. One was a low flying airplane. The other instance was unknown. I shut down and went through the GB procedure and was fine. -
I'm at the 4900 mark. 4 inches to date.

Simply baffling how a company can make the best detectors in the world. But then be so inept when is comes to customer relations, website. Everyone wants to maximize profits. But at what cost. I personally would rather make a little less and keep my customer base totally informed and happy.

Has to laugh at the scrolling pictures of detectors. The Go-Find is 1st. Must be their flagship detector. Lol. Not mobile friendly yet either. But glad they changed. Easier to navigate. -
Very nice. Congratulations.

Yes Fireball does come in big jugs from Costco. I'll meet you at telephone pole 319 between 12 and noon. Glad you are finally getting gpz 7000 back.

And I'll do the night shift. Or course you'll have to supply me a jug of Fireball.
