'Yeah, but it's a dry heat!"? Just kidding! I was in Phoenix once during summer, when I was about eleven! I still have a vivid memory of that heat! At least here in S. Florida you know how much fluid your body is losing, because your swimming in it! yuk!?, but relief is much closer at hand! Great work toughing it out for the gold! Stay safe, and hydrated! Don't forget the electrolytes!???

Once you clear out all the iron, that should unmask more targets! The larger the iron pieces, the more area they will mask! Depending on the concentrations, sifting may be another option! Lots of cool items are non metal, but undetected items will sift out too! Love all the great finds so far! Keep at it!??

It's not you, it's us! Basically it's there for everyone's protection! We try to always be friendly and helpful, no matter what "level" we/you are! But alot of spammers and scammers assault this great forum; and many other forums! So we are cautious to "vet" as best we can! We are protective of Steve's forum, as is he! But always open to new people to make it even better! I hope that explain's it well enough! And it does sometimes take time to get answers to questions! Try posting under the Fisher detector "heading"! Most times "detector specific" location's on the forum, have a greater reader coverage! Meet and Greet is not really a "subject related" question area, just a "get to know you" area! And of course, not everyone here is a "Greeter" type, or does it forever! I think it's a great way for us "newer" people to have a positive impact on the forum, meet new people, and also contribute something, for all the experiences and education we can gain here! ??? PS: Sorry to hear about your detector friends passing!?? Not uncommon here either! Life's short! You do the best you can, until then!

Nice work!? I'm seeing possibly 1889 on your coin! Side lighting it may reveal more! I'll keep looking!??

I wasn't sure on the granules, due to it being a unique two piece construction! Thought that they could have been something special glued in between for religous significance! The "screen" appears to be related to a confessional design! I haven't seen one quite like it! JMO??

Unique piece Mn, Look's like it was two pieces soldered together! And what are the black looking crystalline structures behind the figure, sandwiched in the middle? Is that soil/sand???

And I've come to the conclusion, after many years of hunting, in an extensive camo collection, that the deer are laughing at me trying to blend in! At least the smart ones! ???
-
We don't have the concrete ground, but more like dirty carbon powder! Near zero conductivity without some mosture, if you know what I mean! But the beach soil is relatively consistant, albeit like walking on hot coals!???

Don't lean it against a tree or bush, you may never find it again! GPS tag optional! ???

I say we are on topic! Detecting the joke of the day!? And yes, with the heat, and current events, we all need a little more laughter to lighten the mood, and keep us detecting/prospecting, and forum strong! Steve will slap us in line, if he objects! He appreciates a good laugh, as much as anyone, I'm sure! Within parameters, of course! *Besides, I really enjoyed sending this to my 86 year old dad! Thanks!!??

Update, More Info... Out Of Warranty Nox 800 Pod Replacement
Joe D. replied to Dan(NM)'s topic in Minelab Equinox Forum
I've had to pay sending in my various parts to the repair center; 3 coils and 2 pods on two different 800's! But they covered the return trips! I'm OK with that arrangement, as all returns from their end were new parts, under warranty of course! And the three coils came back with a new coil cover and bolt and washers included, that were not sent in! So basically no cost on my end! Nothing out of warranty yet, as I will sell or trade before ending! Not exactly on subject, but there you go!?? -

Thanks for the clarification Jeff! Much appreciated!! I guess they can be seen as the equivalent of the Nox 600-800; In that they would not want them to be too close to the same! It would hurt their bottom line! Keep up the good work!??
