I've been wondering what's going on. Went to watch his Tarsacci video and they were all gone. I think most here would like to know what he's doing.

Nice photo! I only did that once at a cellar hole in a pine plantation where there wasn't any snow yet.

Looks like your wearing a wet suit. Cold when you first get in? That looks cool doing that lol. I don't think I would have ever done that. Good job. Did you get any gold?

Joe, what is the dry suit that you use? In the summer I use a short sleeve wet suit top and separate pants. Dry suits are expensive. I might get neoprene waders so I can go out more in the spring and fall.

Mine started when I was 16. My fingers and toes will turn white. Doesn't hurt though warming up.

I have Raynaud's Syndrome too. If I'm out playing in the snow I need hand warmers in my gloves and boots too. For me in northern Michigan, I'm all snowed and and lakes are frozen.

It's worse than I thought it would be. I'm 66 too. I the J & J vaccine with no booster. I guess I should get the booster. Are you feeling better after 2 weeks. I saw Omicron isn't affecting the lungs. It sounds like it's affecting your lungs.

Still the way the Deus 2 is overall I still might have to get one lol.

I tried all the frequencies and all modes. All frequencies and modes hit the ring. 54khz hit was weaker. Gold mode was a weaker hit. I think it was 28khz. 3 tone mode hit was weaker. I was surprised it hit at all. I think I tested all the frequencies in 4 tone mode only. I should have wrote it all down when I did the tests. My ground is very mild. Was tested on a sandy beach.

Yes, me too. I have the Orx w/ 9" hf coil. I hunt freshwater lakes. I did a test with Orx on a sand beach. I buried a 14k gold ring, 3.77 grams at 14" and it hit it hard. I'm going to test it again this spring and see if it will hit it at 17". I'm wondering in my mild lakes do I need the Deus 2. I liked the Equinox 800 water hunting. I've used the Orx water hunting. For my hunting it feels like I don't need the Deus 2 as incredible as it is. I'm thinking I should just use the Orx water hunting.

For freshwater lake hunting. Gold mode might be good. I want to see all the modes tested on a buried gold ring. Also on earrings and gold chains.

I know if you had tried that detector one time you would have been hooked. It's ok though. You had other things to do at that time. I tried my uncles metal detector and I was hooked. I was in school and started saving my money to buy my first detector. It was a Compass 77B Professional. It was pretty expensive for me buying it in a local grocery store. At the time I thought I could make a pretty good wage detecting. My pay in a grocery store was $1.65 and hour. It didn't work out that way lol.

I didn't notice that the shaft is closer to being centered on the coil. That a big improvement over the 7x11 coil too. Looks like it will be a good coil.

Thank you, more accurate weight than what I found. I found the 7x11 at 420 grams but your weights are more accurate being weighed. Still a nice light coil. I hope Teknetic/Fisher does come out with a SMF waterproof detector. Any chance of that!

That makes the new coil about 335 grams. What's taking so long. I want one. Still makes me wonder if a waterproof detector is coming that will use this coil with all the talk of using it in the water.

I've always used 2 tone with iron at 1. I might try 3 tone. I always liked the distinct tones on the CZ5. I wish I could get those tone on the Nox. I will be getting a Legend. I like the tones better than the Nox. I want to see how the tones can be adjusted.

I've been looking forward to more videos. I hope I don't have to wait long.

I agree. I don't watch videos where I can't hear the detector. I don't care about the finds as much as hearing how the detector did on it.
