By coincidence I had the same encounter with possibly the same Helicopter two months ago while detecting in Mendocino county.I suspected it was either Google Earth or drought and water related. Also way off topic but next Friday and Saturday is the Golden Gate Historical Bottle Societies 54th annual bottle and collectibles show at the Contra Costa Fairgrounds in Sunset Hall.
