Just kidding
As detecting goes, 2017 was not kind to me. Probably the worst year I`ve had since I moved to the gold fields.  My best year was the first year I bought the GPX5000.  I put in a pretty big effort last year with the 19" coil for very little result but I intend to use it a fair bit again this year.  I don`t do this for the money and I would really like to find a big deep bit.   Any way here is some of the gold I found in 2017.   I hope we all find more gold in 2018
cheers Dave

Dave,

perhaps more time spent with the 23 might yield better results at depth ?

My mate up in Holbrook was recently called upon to try and locate an accidently buried ripper off the back or a dozer which had just finished pushing a dam wall , and his 23 picked it up at three METRES !

Mind you, it weighed a couple of hundred kilos

Hi Dave... I agree with Fred, in fact I think your photo represents as nice a display of gold nuggets as I've seen here lately. That said, I hope 2018 will be your best year ever!!!

Thanks for the photo and WTG!!!

Jim.
