Fantastic find Caleb, I agree with the others! Do not clean it any more! Too easy to ruin the patina, and the coin! If you absolutely have to have it cleaner, let a professional do it! And any trash you find on that site may be of relic status! I'm sure there are at least a few more old coins to be found! Keep at it!👍👍

Love that class ring! The older one's look so much nicer than the modern one's!! The King Tides have been keeping the water way up, here in Florida! Plus with the big waves and winds, alot of sand removal, and beach leveling has happened! No cut's though! So finds have been sparse! Once everything calms down for a week or so, we should get some good sorting, and maybe some good finds!👍👍

You mental outliers must also be independently wealthy!💰 With finds, or some other means! But if you gotta be addicted to something, detectors and detecting is the healthiest of all the choices! Keep up the good work fellas! You can always sell your excess inventories to us junior junkies!👍👍

GB, I found those in Stuart, which is well South of the 1715 beaches! But they could be part of an old fishing boat, or something, being where i found them!👍👍

Simon, As you have said before, you are definitely not the norm, when it comes to buying detectors! Most of us can't get that many past our wives!🤣 I really want Garrett to succeed due to the competition aspect, more than anything! We don't need any more companies closing up shop; not just in the US, but anywhere! With the exception being China and there damn counterfeiters! Like you say, its nice to have a variety to keep prices down, and innovation up! It would be expensive, and boring, to have ML be the only show in town!👍👍

RR, We have that problem at Cape Canaveral, being a National Seashore! With the added problem of being a high security zone! I guess that's why they allow the North End to be a nudist beach! Security know's that those individuals aren't concealing any weapons!!🤗👍👍

Compass, That piece is smaller than an old iron, and seems like a base for something, like a jack stand! The three other's are the size of small pears! And have a half inch hole thru the center! Those may have been on top of a rod or something, hard to tell due to the corrosion! But their shape was unusual! 👍👍

Hello all, We have been having some major surf from a hurricane spinning out in the Atlantic near Bermuda, as well as the time of year that we get King Tides! Depending on the wind direction, this can be a really productive time to beach hunt! Unfortunately the wind has been blowing directly on shore, which only makes for a wide flat beach, and few targets! I made the trek to Vero beach yesterday, as well as many other detectorists, to try and get an elusive piece of 1715 Wreck Treasure! There are a lot of locals who work these beaches, and have a tremendous advantage! For me, it's about an hour and a half drive North! So unfortunately, i don't get to do it often! The tide was already incoming when the park gate's opened, and with the short beach's, did not allow for much time to detect! Not that it mattered, there were few to no targets to be had! Sand was being pulled out by the strong high tides, but was being deposited as a secondary break for the waves, which was killing any more good erosion! The few guy's i talked to were just as aware of the poor condition of the beaches, but said it was good practice! Everyone just wants to get out and detect, after all this time indoors, from the heat, and pandemic! I did find some interesting iron targets on the intercoastal side of one beach, but i don't think they are super old! Picked them up anyway, so i wouldn't be skunked! But the weather was beautiful, and not as humid, for once in about 8 months! Great way to start Fall here! Hopefully a few "Winter" storms this season will give us Florida boy's and girl's, and any of you visiting, a chance for some "Reale" Treasure!! 🌊👍👍

Hello all, I got out this afternoon on the receding tide, at a nearby beach to see how the waves were affecting the beach! No cuts, but they were pulling sand to the south at a decent rate! Beach was wide and flat, tilting to the water! I used the G2+ with the stock "pinky" coil today! It did not come with a coil cover, so i ordered one, and got it a few days ago! It worked great, with the only falsing being when i hit it on the sand, or a wave hit it! Here's an hour and a half of hunting, with one other detectorist out near by!👍👍

Here's my version of Kac's digger! I had an old rubber hand grip i added over some paracord, then coated with Plasti-Dip! Gonna try it out this coming week!👍👍
