Detector Finds From Tailing Piles & Hand Placer Digs
MSC replied to Gerry in Idaho's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
Really nice gold Gerry, I miss your usual display style. Continued good hunting. -
A Goldbug 2 with a screen would have been a good seller at one time, years ago, if they came out with one now, it would still be too little too late to increase sales. Time to move on with up-dated VLF detectors. I have one and liked it very much years ago, just sets in the closet now-a-days.

Not under warrenty any longer, worked fine for a long while but just started messing up this Summer.

I have a Garrett carrot, lately once I turn it on I cannot turn it off, have to remove the battery, replace it, then start all over pinpointing, what the heck?

Good video, seems harmless, but it could be just the begining of what Steve has mentiond.

Lucky, your tailgate has seen a lot of gold over the years, good on you.

Well, not teeth marks like someone would have made.

Dam, nice gold, thanks for posting Lucky.

To add to my earlier post, before I started to use the Quipple I used another type of bungee, the length adjustment was at the detector and many times when there was a lot of up and down, instead of adjusting the bungee i would just bend my back down to make up for the down slope, this led me to having back proplems after a few hours. The Quipple is adjustable at the top or bottom of your detector, saved my back to detect longer each day. Great product.

How Would You Like To Run Into This Big Boy Out Detecting?
MSC replied to Goldseeker5000's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
When I was younger when camping with my girlfriend, we were playing cards at out at a pickneck table, it was dark, 2 bears emerged from in back of our tent, I told her to stand up, but we were traped behind the seats and the table, 1 bear went on her side of the table, one on my side, the bear on my side, put his nose on my leg and both continued on to tip over the trash cans a few feet away, moved on to the camp above us. Relived that we had not had a problem with them, the folks at the next campsite we could hear banging pots and pans to scare them aeway. Tense moments for a little while but we did ok. -
Thanks for your opinions folks, both the Axiom and the 6000 are great detectors, I do hope that the customer becomes most importment to all manufactures of all equipment and less focus on making the almighty buck, companies have to make money but not at the expence of quality and what the customer wants and needs. I do think there is hope for that in the future. I hope.
