He assures me that the battery charges overnight and the controls are easy to use. The ground balance is good, and you are only limited by your imagination. We are going to try it out tomorrow! He designed this on his own (he'll be 5 next week) with the help of a Christmas set. It will probably work as good as some of the detectors you have been getting for Christmas.
