Sinclair
Today I sifted out my trash bucket to look for stuff, that accidentally went in there.. Holy crap! More than 500 pulltabs. And that‘s not even all.. big stuff already sorted out. Who got more? 😂
Dan(NM)
I feel your pain, this is the lead dug from 1 spot from Jan-Dec 2023, fresh water lake hunting. I quit saving the other trash after the first 5 gallon bucket was full.
Sinclair
Holy cow - Dan!! You beat me on that one 🤠 I didn‘t even find that much lead in 6 years. Ok, mainly dry sand hunting.. never the less - that‘s just a ridiculous amount! I think I have a 10 liter bucket full - I‘ll put it on a scale some day. Lol, it was a spot close to my house and was producing just enough from time to time to keep me going back. I had myself convinced a honking gold ring was hiding among the lead :)

CalReg
That's a lot of trash!
mn90403
I'd like to recycle and sell my metal scrap but the storage process is just too daunting when you have a small place.

You can show your friends, that you don‘t only find good stuff and clean the beach. 4 hours ago, mn90403 said: I'd like to recycle and sell my metal scrap but the storage process is just too daunting when you have a small place. I just keep forks, knives, spoons, keys for fun, the lead and some of the bling jewelry. Never sold gold or silver. Two ring returns so far from 24 as far as I remember. DSMITH
All you @Sinclair and @Dan(NM) have done is give perfect examples of the reality of metal detecting in general, new people coming in watch these you tubers and think all you dig is great finds all the time, when in reality a lot of trash is in their future with this great hobby LOL
