Thanks for the video, What numbers are notched out for the penny and the dime, also have you considered doing an air test for depth on those gold rings.

Deus II 0.7 Out Now: Live Threshold And More
Calarms replied to ☠ Cipher's topic in XP Deus II Forum
The label beta testers is used too lightly, in regards to true beta testers who received some sort of consideration for doing the service such as free use of software and things of that nature, pertaining to metal detector manufacturers, the small companies with low budget , seem to be rushing out their products at the consumer's expense, which I feel isn't right, big corporations minelab, and XP seem to spend time and research for r&d to get the bugs out before they release their products to the public , I don't want to be a beta tester and spend my hard-earned money, on a product that's not ready for release, that's not fair to the consumers, -
WOW ! That is really nice XP is listening to their customers and giving us these nice update options , the large numbers will benefit people , DEUS 1 tone's are nice for users that are used to them,

Legend Settings And Results Discussion
Calarms replied to Dirtshark's topic in Nokta / Makro Metal Detectors
Dilek said in her video they used inferior chips to rush out the legend that's not fixable by update, that's not right, also selling a product that's not ready that has bugs in it and the consumer has to pay good money on it, to do their research at are expense seems backwards to me, I'm glad I held off on buying that product and will not buy one now -
Thanks for the video, the DEUS 2 really runs great,

A Really Disheartening Prospecting Experience
Calarms replied to Condor's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
Always make sure the seller signs a warranty deed, and a performance contract , and has unprotected assets, that way you'll have something to fall back onto for litigation. -
OGILUGA how do you feel the depth would be on the 11" coil versus 9"

A Really Disheartening Prospecting Experience
Calarms replied to Condor's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
WOW ! That is really terrible , sorry to hear about people getting taken like that , if the seller promised certain consideration, that equates a performance contract , perhaps litigation would be there only avenue at this point, -
Thanks for the test video, I'm really impressed with the depth the DEUS 2 can achieve

Nox 800 Vs Orx Vs Legend For Nugget Hunting
Calarms replied to oldcoinhunter's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
Well if the legend hits fine gold with the 6" coil , that would certainly push me towards the purchase, also if the new updates fix the beach issues, then I'm a buyer.- 16 replies

Why Aren't More Analog Detectors Made?
Calarms replied to Rick N. MI's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
The new deeptech gold hound, on the air test currently on YouTube shows it goes 42 to 50 cm deep, to me it's worth turning a couple knobs to get that type of performance out of it, equinox 800, XP orx ,deus1, deus2, you have to adjust everything anyway in all the videos to get it to perform most of the time, some people may find it easier just to turn a couple knobs, even if you have that eyesight usually be able to see the knobs and turn them quite easily, no problem with glare or bright sunlight, I have no affiliation with deeptech, BUT for 499 euros the price point is much lower and affordable compared to the other units I mentioned -
Why Aren't More Analog Detectors Made?
Calarms replied to Rick N. MI's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
I've watched the deeptech videos, they appear to be a well made unit what would be the Vista gold gain or gold hound detectors be comparable too, it would be interesting to see a test against the legend, sometimes it's quicker and easier to turn knobs without going to an LED screen pushing tons of buttons ,won't even be able to see in certainly light, or having to put glasses on to adjust the unit, -
Legend - First Impressions
Calarms replied to Jeff McClendon's topic in Nokta / Makro Metal Detectors
I hope you're happy with the legend, but for me it's 90% Beach use in on the west coast in socal, and 10 to 15% prospecting in Mariposa, I have PI's , ORX and whites, I'm not interested at this time in the legend it looks like it will not be a good beach detector for what I want, as far as prospecting that's up in the air, haven't seen any videos in that regard but I'm waiting, good luck with your legend, -
Legend - First Impressions
Calarms replied to Jeff McClendon's topic in Nokta / Makro Metal Detectors
I hope it's a better unit than that,. The legend ! couldn't see anything that equinox hit, not to mention the DEUS 2 because that's a whole different class,, but I'm really reluctant to spend any money on the legend now , -
Legend - First Impressions
Calarms replied to Jeff McClendon's topic in Nokta / Makro Metal Detectors
Yes I seen that video you're referring to that Calabash Digger’s Equinox 800/Legend beach video, it seemed disappointing that the legend did not hit certain things or could go very deep, it may not be a good machine for the beach -
There may be a lot of deus coming up for sale

I thank all the people making videos , they're entertaining

Currently with the war in Ukraine and fuel prices increasing, delivery cost and food products are increasing everyday especially in the US , there's less spendable cash available , which trickles down into hobbies, I feel certain sales sectors will be affected
