Guide Arm Repair Kit

Recommended Posts

I see Steve----

Yeah that will never make it to the field...lol

All i did in AU was to push it over to the other side of the control head--(right O dave)

My other 'problem' is that i don't have a 7000 guide arm--- but I DO have an old one Rudy Salazar gave me one day at the Rye Patch-- it is a lot  bigger in diameter than the 7000 GA ----but it will do just fine after I go to Home Depot and get something to make it mate up to the repair kit....

I never used the guide arm before thinking it was just another contraption to add money and weight to the detector, but after doing as JP told me to do, i found i could use it along with the hipstick bungee system to slide it way under scrub bushes-- i would hold the 7000 by the battery box in the palm of my hand and just slide it up under and get at least 3 to 4 feet extension that way

.... the only problem is that when you find something you got to get down and dirty to crawl in and get the target out...lol

Thank God I saw no snakes in OZ!!!!

Thx for the pic Steve!
