  1. Cool finds, as always!!πŸ‘Œ I see a few interesting junk items in the bottom pic; large "ring" in center of pic, and a "medallion" bottom right side! What kind of metal for both, just curious?πŸ‘πŸ‘
  2. Wow, 600 ft of buried power lines? You should be getting your electric for free just from proximity! Or at least, your phones should charge automatically! πŸ€£πŸ‘πŸ‘
  3. Did you have a taste, to see if they were still good?πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸ‘
  4. Speaking of "long drive states", try getting out of Florida to any other state; the most boring drive, and takes forever!πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸ‘
  5. WTG on the new detector BG, Love to see your progress in the hobby! Since I haven't had much time to hunt, i'm living through you, and others! Can't wait to see what the year brings for you; and us watching! Keep up the good work!!πŸ‘πŸ‘
  6. Amen to that Simon! Besides, I have a few "used" detectors i bought this year already! Gotta cool my heels for awhile! And F350, Three of them are old-school Tesoro's that were too good a deal to resist! They still have a little "magic" in them, that more modern detectors haven't been able to recreate! JMOπŸ‘πŸ‘
  7. Sorry Rattlehead, auto correct doesn't Iike your name!🀣 Had to manually correct it from rattlesnake!πŸ‘πŸ‘
  8. Caleb, Glad to see you out digging again! But sorry to hear about your grandmother not doing well! There's a season for everything! Hang in there!πŸ™ As far as coins go, as I recall, you have some very🦨 nice finds from some previous hunts! Also, you are young, so have more time left than many of us, to hunt for treasures!πŸ‘πŸ‘
  9. WTG on the new 3-D printer project Kac! Looks like a winner!πŸ‘πŸ‘
  10. Oh, that explains the reason he was tossing seaweed in the air! And didn't want a detector guy around! He could have just asked for your help!πŸ€£πŸ‘πŸ‘
  11. As usual, great finds! And I've always loved how you lay out and show everything in their groupings! Keep it up! Happy to see the GPX working out so well on the beach! You just know that there's a layer of good stuff just out of range! Not unlike the Treasure Coast, other than that layer is measured in feet instead of inches! What i could find with a bulldozer for a day or two!πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸ‘
  12. Good looking finds! Keep at it! I hope you do well in Savanna too! They have been bringing cannons up from the river bottom! Also keep you eyes peeled for old bottles, and fossils, if you get to hunt the river edges!πŸ‘πŸ‘
  13. I'm guessing she must read what you post here!! 🀣JKπŸ‘πŸ‘
  14. Not saying anyone's right or wrong here, but seems to me the engineer's would have used a more than large enough CPU; being a new detector, and that they would have maximized depth during development! Coil size not withstanding! I like the concept though, and wonder if it can be applied to other brands! Not that it's impossible, but I have a hard time believing that an end user is going to out engineer the engineers, when it comes to detectors function! It's not like removing emissions parts off a car, or adding an aftermarket chipset to get more horsepower, by altering timing, fuel to air ratio etc! That i understand! Please explain more, as I'm trying to wrap my head around your discoveries! I just found this post, so maybe I missed something! I'm going to go through the video and info again, as I don't have one to try it out on! Interesting info thanks!!πŸ‘πŸ‘
  15. Welcome Turman, Sounds like you work hard for what you find, to make a living at it! That's awesome! Maybe Nokta/Mack will sponsor you, or use your skills for testing! Glad you found us on the forum! Looking forward to some more pictures!πŸ€πŸ‘πŸ‘
  16. Welcome Capt. Ed, Glad to have you here! Take you time, and do your homework for a detector, as there are a few more options lately! And don't overlook the good used market! Just use a reliable source, no matter what you go with! The N/M Legend may be in the mix for what you are looking for! It will be out soon! I would stick with a multi-frequency detector, and possibly waterproof, for the most bang for your buck!! Good luck, and good hunting!!πŸ€πŸ‘πŸ‘
  17. Welcome JP! Love the nickname, sounds like an alter ego for the Marvels Fantastic Four Character, Human Torch!πŸ˜πŸ‘ And on that note, Thank You, for your Service!!πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡² All service people are hero's!! Cool to have such an extensive prospecting, and detecting history! Looking forward to some stories and finds! πŸ€πŸ‘πŸ‘
  18. Welcome KDC, Always happy to see a new "face" on the forum! Everyone here is willing to help you in the new hobby! But don't quit fishing! That's something I used to do heavily, but haven't got back too in many years! Including alot of Crappie fishing on Lake Okeechobee, and Kissimmee River; ahhh the good ole' days!!πŸ€£πŸ€πŸ‘πŸ‘
  19. Welcome Bob, Glad to have your experience here! And Thank You, for your service!!πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡² Thanks for the background info, and hope to see what you've been hunting! Took me over thirty years to get back to the dirt in 2015, but I'm here to stay now, till I'm under it!πŸ€£πŸ‘πŸ‘
  20. Welcome Andro, What GB said!! Happy you joined the forum!πŸ‘πŸ‘
  21. Hello GH, Happy you found the forum! Where are you detecting from?πŸ‘πŸ‘
  22. Welcome back Rattlehead, Glad to have you posting here finally! I bet you have some good stories and finds to share with us!πŸ‘πŸ‘
  23. Another great product from Steve! What is the total length of the upper shaft, as it is one piece? And is there just one mounting hole for the POD, or are there a few for adjustment? Thank's for the view!πŸ‘πŸ‘
  24. Very well put above! Equinox covers are very easy to install and remove, compared to some others, like Tesoro's! And if you do happen to crack, or break one, they are cheap enough to repair, or replace!πŸ‘πŸ‘
  25. What a waste of good gold! Seems like an "easy mark", for determined bad guys! It would look much better, and safer, in small bars, In my bank, in the vault! I would visit it often, so it wouldn't be lonely!🀣
