Happy to hear the good news Simon!! Definitely enjoyed the series! Beats many of the "reality" detecting shows by far! Just don't overanalize, and enjoy the story, beautiful countryside, and humor of seasoned British actors!πππ

Joe D. replied to F350Platinum's topic in Metal Detecting For Coins & Relics
"And don't call me Shirley"π€£ Fun hunt, cool finds, and a good old punchline!!ππ -
Definitely a rare find, as there are probably very few of the actual cars still in existence! I don't think we will probably ever see another detected one! Let alone one of the actual cars!ππ

Joe D. replied to F350Platinum's topic in Metal Detecting For Coins & Relics
Further weight upgrade, square top verson! Same price! Thanks for the "heads up" Bob! You find the best stuff! Blue $27.99! Red a dollar more!ππ -
I'm a little late to your party Mongo, but welcome!! Don't sweat being new, the previous posts will definitely set you on the right track!! Tremendous advice there! Glad I read them all, and l will be rereading them, as I can always use the help; and I've been at this awhile! Never can have enough detecting knowledge! Always learning! That's the key! And we are close in age, so I know where you are coming from! Just put the hours in, and you will be rewarded for your time! Good luck out there!πππ

Joe D. replied to rokman's topic in Meet & Greet
Hello Rokman, Maple Leafsπ always welcome to the forum! Meteorite hunting sounds interesting! And thank's for sharing some finds! Your knowledge will be a welcomed addition here! Sorry to hear about your stolen detector!π€¬ May a hail of meteorites fall on the offending thief!!βββ Good luck out there!!πππ -
Welcome Odie, Glad to have you on the forum! And Thank You! For Your Service!πΊπ² White's still find the goods, as you know! Just gotta get out there and keep it swinging! BTW, can you get me Garfield's autograph!?π±π Good luck!πππ

Welcome LS, Happy you found us! And sounds like you are off to the races; and with a hunting partner no less! That's great! No experience in the gold fields for me, but my 800 does a fine job at beaches and inland sites! Nothing wrong with sticking with the stock programs, as it can get confusing messing with customized ones right away! Keeps the frustration level to a minimum! Good luck, and finds, for you both!πππ

Welcome to the forum Pete, Glad to have another brother across the pond! Obviously, we are all envious of the great historic finds there, and love when you post/show them! I will have to find your other posts! Continued luck, and finds!πππ

Been A Lurker, Just Moved To Southeast Oklahoma
Joe D. replied to Curly Maple Bandit's topic in Meet & Greet
Welcome CMB, Glad to have you on the forum! Just moved myself 5 months ago! Yeah, really cuts into detecting time, with all the new projects! But, when I catch up, I have new areas to explore! Keep us posted how it goes!! Good luck with the new place, and detecting!πππ -
Welcome FT, Glad you finally joined in! Already read a few of your posts/questions on the legend!π I know of at least three of your countrymen that are members here! They also should have some like experiences to share, I'm sure! Sometime down the road, I would like to hear about your laws/restrictions on detecting their! I've heard it can be pretty harsh! Good luck out there!πππ

Is that a turn signal, or headlights on the left!πππ€£

I commend you for your skills! But no need for bush fixes on an under warranty detector! And it will also most likely void the warranty! I would not risk that; but that's me!!ππ

Bullets And The Brass Ring
Joe D. replied to F350Platinum's topic in Metal Detecting For Coins & Relics
Great job Bob, looks like an awesome place to detect!! ππ -
I'd say easily June-July! They gotta lot of updates/additions to add that are bound to have some bugs, that need to be tested out before safe to release! But who knows, maybe users will be pleasantly surprised!ππ

First, I wanted to say "Thank's Delik!" for all the info! And have a Great Holiday Off!!π Secondly, for everyone; I don't own a Legend yet, or have any ties with NM, nor am I a dealer of any kind for any brand! Just an end-user! But have watched it closely, since it was announced! And have been very impressed with the customer communications! Even if everything hasn't been problem free! Nothing ever is with a new release! I think I'm pretty unbiased on any brands I have owned; they all have their niche to fill! And i appreciate great customer service, but especially a responsive manufacturer who understands customer needs, and can continually adapt with actual end-user input, on the fly! Even though I'm sure it can be very taxing, as there are some people that you can never please, and some things that are not yet technically possible! I think they are heading in the right direction, to help secure market share, and a healthy following! Keep up the good work, by setting the standard to follow!! Maybe other's will learn a thing or two, and try and improve their end-user communication and improvements, without us needing a bank loan to make a purchase!πππ

Welcome Boot, Glad you found the forum! Too bad about the travel restrictions, but won't be long before you can expand your hunts! Your gold is legend down there!! Good luck!πππ
-
All great work! Nothing to scoff at for sure! Happy you shared with us!ππ

Hello David, And welcome to the forum! You've got some classic detectors there that will still find plenty of good stuff! Keep up the good work!ππ

Hey Bob!! We forget that you have a 600 sometimes!! Maybe one day, pick up a good used 800, and sell, or trade in the 600! Only suggest that, due to how well you have learned it's operation, and the extra features and frequencies may give you a few more useful tools for the hunt! Then again, may be unncessary, due to having the new Deus; time and use will tell!ππ

I like a good game of wack a mole! The secret to winning is to bring your own framing hammer!!π€£ππ

Beach Season Has Begun
Joe D. replied to schoolofhardNox's topic in Metal Detecting For Coins & Relics
