  1. Garrett, Please don't send those guys anything as they all have several detectors to use as it is. However as it is, I only have 1 old unit that my grandfather left me when he passed away, and would enjoy a new and shiny detector or anything else to use in my detecting and gold panning hobby. Please forgive those who are more fortunate than me as they are trying really hard to outsmart your great company. Thank you, Caleb
  2. Very nice and in good condition, are they brass as they do look like it. Good luck on your next hunt.
  3. Great saves, and hope that you can get the phone back to the owner. That is unless the owner don't want his wife to find out all the pictures of his girlfriend on there. That may be why it was buried in the first place. Good luck on your next hunt and stay safe.
  4. I have used my 10x5 along some creeks and shore lines that I know contain gold in them. They work better than I have expected because of the direction I can get into some of the small cracks and along the hillsides. Flat land I would use the 6in only because it is a little bit more sensitive in that area, but for the creeks I will choose the 10x5. Good luck and good hunting.
  5. My current life will not allow me to get out and hunt very much and that is the only reason I will not be getting a new toy. This was the last year on the 800 warranty for me, and I have not been swinging it more than 4 times all year. To much work for me right now, but when it slows down to the point that I can get back home I plan to hit the frozen ground.
  6. Amazing fine and I hope you bought a lottery ticket after that. The pocket watch should still be close to the area so I would be hitting that area more. Good luck and good hunting.
  7. Nice hunt and with those out of the way I'm sure the gold will be coming up soon. Good luck and stay safe and out of the water don't need to get bit by no shark.
  8. Fantastic condition on those relics, and I hope they find them great also. Should they not be thrilled about them just adopt me and I would even be willing to give you a hug. Just kidding, good luck on your next hunt.
  9. Nice finds and I would be hitting that area for the ship that they came off of. Very nice ring, was it 10k or 14k? Good luck on your next outing and stay safe.
  10. Fantastic hunt, I wish I had an area around here that could produce some coins like that. Great work on finding them and good luck on your next hunt.
  11. Great finds and a great place to show them off, how long have you been making those because it shows how good you are at it. Good luck on your next outing and stay safe.
  12. Welcome to the forum and we are glad that you are here. 50 years is a long time detecting and I am sure that you have plenty of good stories to share with us. I am sure that you will have a few people join up with you for a hunt in the near future so give it a little time to hear from them. Good luck and good hunting.
  13. Thank you for your time, knowledge, experience, and thoughtfulness for being involved for us who are less experienced in making a better detector for us. I am sure that many more people feel the same as I do, and yes I am new at this hobby but enjoy each and every day that I can swing my grandfathers detector. I just wished that I had more time to develop my skills with my detectors. Once again thank you very much for your time that you put into this hobby and forum.
  14. Great hunt for sure, but I am surprised that the NOX didn't find any of those items. I had a silver problem just once with my 800 and did a factory rest, then balanced it out, put my new settings in and then every silver it went over it hit hard. I hope that you try the reset before going there again on the NOX. Good luck on your next trip.
  15. I really need to get back home to get back out there after seeing all of those nice beauties. Great job on the saves and glad that were the one to get them. Good luck on your next outing and stay safe.
  16. Welcome to the forum and glad to see you here, we will be waiting for some good stories about your hunts and please include some pictures. I know that some of the creeks still have no snow on them and they are a great source of gold out there. Just kidding about the creeks for now, but come spring and summer you ought to check them out. Good luck and good hunting.
  17. Thank you for sharing the story and the pictures as it really shows the hard work that you go through to find the gold. Nice looking gold and glad to see your work paid off. Good luck on your next outing in that beautiful country.
  18. Glad to hear that you are doing better and pray that you get better each and every day. Hope to see you out there in the future.
  19. Welcome to the forum where all good hunts are shared. With your background I am sure that we can expect to see some very nice finds from you. I have heard that some of the streams and rivers down there have gold in them that may be detectable for you. Be careful as there are many people there that are not to nice to outsiders. Good hunting and good luck.
  20. Unusual pendent for sure, did you find the chain that it came from. Good luck on your next hunt.
  21. That is not the Memphis bridge as it has 2 humps on it. Sorry
  22. Thank you for sharing that video, it is very good but I hated to see a good Tracker IV go into the water.
  23. How come that looks like a grave that your digging? You are right about digging holes though as I have done so near a creek. There was an old log cabin about 50 yards away and almost every place we dug a hole we found something. Lots of coins near the creek edge and close to the house. Good luck out there and stop digging up old graves.
  24. Nice finds for such a cold ground and I am sure that was some hard work. Good luck and good hunting on your next trip.
