G.B. I have to know - what was in the bottom of this hole? I hope it was worth the effort!

Started of with a quiet signal took a bit of digging to reach target

Finaly got it out

1st bit followed by a deeper signal

more signalsIMG_20150408_142304.thumb.jpg.bc0ea5ecd5cc56cb5f79a3896b4ce1ed.jpg

And more signals being nuggety gold bearing quartz

And more signals

Trouble with nuggety gold bearing quartz there can be a lot of digging before the next signal

Some excellent gold in this thread. I normally don't post many pics of gold for a couple of reasons.

1, I got sick of seeing it turn up on someone elses  farcebook page and 2, because I live isolated and by myself I don't really want too many people seeing what I might have and pay me a visit for the wrong reasons.

I don't mind posting pics of stuff I've sold or am selling though.

This is a specimen I found a few weeks back. Was having a piddle and spotted it on top of the ground winking at me. Contained 25.5 gr if I remember correctly.

I called it the piddle patch and it's still producing, so far just over 3oz.

This is 10.5gr from the patch a couple of days ago

Not too far from there I hit a decent patch that produced a fair few sizable bits last year and still has more to give up.

This is one I parted with that went 95gr

That flat 'lacy' one in the palm is quite an interesting piece.  Is it delicate?
