I think you are using the nox 600 or 800, did you get the latest update a few months ago? When I had done it most of my silver started coming up as a 20-23 for the dimes. Trimes were at 18-20 on average for my 800. Hope you can figure it out and come up with some nice finds. Good luck and stay safe this holiday.

Looks like your going to have some fun on a rainy day, but you need to find a tire for the bus. Hope you find some more of them so you don't get tired of just those 3, you really need to get another 6 of them. Just kidding and happy hunting.

Great idea Gerry, and thanks for the opportunity however I can only go on Saturday so I can be with my family. We are going to lay a wreath for my grandfather who was in the Air Force and the Navy, and then travel north to lay a wreath on my great grandfathers grave who in WWII won 2 silver stars a bronze star along with 3 purple hearts before being sent back home. I will be thinking of all who find some gold this weekend, but my heart is with those who have fallen for our country.

Should you find out where the old outhouse was, go that direction, also if there were clothes lines in the picture try that area also. I have done that around the places I hunt and have come up with some nice pieces. Good luck on your next outing!

Thanks for the information on the coil, I am waiting for one to get to Gerry so he can sell it to me. I have not been out there swinging my 800 yet because of the jobs grandmother has me doing around the house. I am hoping to get out there this weekend to hit up some of the old churches. More information on the lettering on the chain: SU CH was a misprint on the stamp, as it should read SUCK. That was used for people that were being real cheap when buying something for the wife. The person selling the item was telling the buyer in his own way "SUCKER"
