The extremes are what I have as well...big scoops but you can have smaller ones custom made. Thanks for posting the pic ! strick

I'll take a look at mine to see what I got...then get back. Probably not a problem in the dry... Most will just dump the scoop on the ground and give it a kick if its wet or damp no matter what size holes.. strick

Golden Nuggets Of A Different Kind
strick replied to Gerry in Idaho's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
Amazing...were some of them in the same hold or were they scattered over a small area? Also where would the $5 gold coin ID on the e trac? I assume it would be similar to the 3030.. strick -
Yep I"m stuck in the bay area. The only good thing is there are lots of parks.. Pull tab and bottle cap land. strick

Our Goal Is To Fulfill All Backorders By End Of March
strick replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in Minelab Equinox Forum
There is a guy about an hour from me...I would not buy a CTX from him if he sold it for $1 Early on when I was looking into different detectors I called this fella. I had two detectors at the time...A Garret AT gold and a Garret ATX. Both I got from a nice dealer in the south bay. I was looking at maybe getting a 2300. So I call this guy north of me...and ask him about the 2300...he asks what I'm using at the moment...I tell him and then he asks where I bought them from? I'm thinking what do you care where I bought my detectors from? So I told him I bought them from Kellyco lol..partly because i could not remember the name of the fella in the south bay...So this guy then goes on to tell me that that I should just go and call Kellyco with any of my questions about my future detectors lol... I've bought many detectors and accessories since that day and he lost any chance of ever doing business with me. If you cant or dont want to help somebody then be nice about it...there is no reason to be a jerk to a complete stranger you dont even know. strick -
Your Thoughts: Best Pin Pointer?
strick replied to TennesseeDigger's topic in Metal Detecting For Coins & Relics
Theres a guy on Amazon who says his is freezing up already...I think the key to pinpointers is to have several so when one breaks you can go back to the truck for the other. Let us know how the Fisher holds up. Interested. strick -

Video To Get Rid Of Bottle Caps Equinox
strick replied to vanursepaul's topic in Minelab Equinox Forum
Thanks Paul! I hear the TDI SL is weaker then the TDI pro. I have the Pro and it has proven itself to me on the beach. It's Deep. Bottle caps galore with that sucker...I can hunt wide open with my CTX then go back over it with the TDI pro and there are targets everywhere.....Run it with ground balance off for depth. Detector comparisons on youtube hunt with this machine from time to time. If the Equinox can offer some disc and be even remotely close with depth (Im dreaming here) then... strick -
Good stuff! Love that wreath looking thingy 5 pics up...kinda looks like gold strick

Video To Get Rid Of Bottle Caps Equinox
strick replied to vanursepaul's topic in Minelab Equinox Forum
I have no problem with bottle caps at the beach either...anyone who complains about digging bottle caps in the sand is a......well I wont go there ....but the parks in my neck of the woods are littered with zillions of them. People will take out the bottle but push the cap in the grass...in some places the detector nulls quiet for many yards before it recovers...and they dont get washed away like at the ocean...they just keep degrading until getting closer and closer to a low tone. I see that the nox goes very deep at the beach and I was wanting to try and do a comparison to the TDI pro...if it can even come close to the TDI then it's a no brainer strick -
Just speculating but he might have had one laying around? I have one that I will try and make work.. anything in particular that was difficult about the job? someone was saying that you have to drill a little hole in the carbon fiber shaft for the nipple in the handle to drop into. strick

Thanks! the big necklace I found a couple months ago. The other stuff in the last two weeks. I've found jewelry hunting in parks to be a great way to relieve the stresses of every day life....Dig and Dig it relaxes the mind and allows you think...Its always a nice surprise when something nice pops out of the ground. strick

Might as well hunt while I'm waiting for the Equinox. Some 10K and some 925. Why is it most of the good 925 chains I find say made in Italy? The wife is claiming the nice women's silver braided necklace and the gold bracelet lol. Almost threw away the little pendent thought it was junk weight less then a gram.... strick
