  1. I would think some planes have differing amounts of EMI depending on the composition of the construction too. Like wi fi works poorly in my RV..
  2. Some charging circuits can produce HF interference. So checking is good , then you'll know . Edit: Thought about this more today.. Plus there must be a BMS in each one , could be a "symphony" of EMI ? Possibly different amounts between brands too. Or nothing at all ?
  3. Scary pics ! I get enough of THAT here in what I call "East Coast Alaska" ! The heat is OK for me ...had enough cold stuff to last me two lifetimes..... Good crowd but... Long wait for the lifts fer sure !
  4. It's kinda like an old fella told me once a long time ago when I was mentioning a dry spell of a different sort. "Some do and some don't . Some will and some won't . Ask 'em all , no hard feelins" If ya get me drift.............😎Skuh kuh kuh kuh kuh Maybe a bigger "coil" would have helped me then but a smaller one seems like a good call for yer situation yup yup .
  5. LOL kac I do that on my laptop all the time ! The volume control on the side is in just the wrong place ....aaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh. Just early spring , no depositors , a clean beach , just sanded in....???? IDK I do test with my scoop but didn't count those as targets , and found coins or at least junk after the dry spells when I usually decide to dig anything if it would just find something . I remember one that after chasing it with dozens of scoops in shallow surf turned out to be a chunk of lobster trap arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh (again). Davey Jones was a lobster fisherman ???? There IS a local boat called The Flying Dutchman so...???? Flydog The charcoal theory is sounding more likely ,but , ya never really knowwwwww till ya dig a beep or two,,,.,,or three.
  6. Yeah , when I saw those higher numbers flash on your display Flydog , I thought🤔 I would have investigated a bit more on just those and dug one or two that stayed consistent if for no other reason just to get an idea of wth I was up against causing all that ruckus .... And , well ,they couldn't all be bad targets could they? (yes LOL ) Plus I'm there anyway , might as well wear out the digger a bit . It's the game for me , I (try) to not keep score though. BUT , If it's gonna be my lucky day ................Hey , it wouldn't make me sad. 😏 Sometimes I detect for hours with zero targets . You do get to say you had a great beep score there ,,,and you even got a cool video to show us ! ( sorry , I had to put just 1)🤪
  7. All I have to do for some platinum is wait................ Mom has a platinum bar in her ankle and it's my inheritance ! Skuh kuh kuh kuh Hope I wait a long time.
  8. I noticed this spring that the bolts for the pod were kinda loose on mine ,so I snugged them up. Hope it wasn't too much !!!??????????🧐
  9. Monte Interesting info , thx for sharing that !🤔 WOW Flydog , beepady beeb beep ! I noticed the target ID changed on every one too ..... I thought ALL CAPS was yelling and exclamation points was just excited ? LOL I'll try and remember that when replying to ya . ( I'm annoying enough as it is already🤪 ,,,I studied english in school but have more fun not following those teacher's rules)
  10. hmmmm like blacksmith tongs ? I like that one too ,well if you can get them to work guess throw 'em in the tool box and see what you take them out for....
  11. Awwwwwwww Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn ! Everybody already called dibs !🙄
  12. That curve in the last pic does kinda/maybe look like a nut cracker...
  13. I'll take a set ! Only have stock coils to cover , but that 10x5..............
  14. Welcome aboard Vaisal ! You just found a lot of new friends to help guide your hunts . There's a lot of posts here with good advice and discussions to read up on and just ask about anything you would like more info on That 800 is a good machine and will treat you right , hope you found lots of treasure in Bulgaria. Any finds so far you'd like to show off or just can't identify post a picture...
  15. Wow nice pair of rings ! I'm turning green ! I had a friend back in the 60s that never surfaced while diving for urchins in relatively shallow water. There's SO much that can go wrong..
  16. Musta been a lot of mud for someone to lose something that big ! Were you detecting at WOODSTOCK ? 🤔🤩
  17. Yup , that sun is an EMI badass from time to time. Maybe all the guys shooting skip creates interference that affects the 6000 too ? LOL Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm The detectors operate in a much lower band than even Chicken Band AM , but it makes sense that the 6000's interfere with each other though. I used to have to co-ordinate wireless mic operating frequencies to eliminate third harmonic beat freq's cluttering up everything and forget about two units using the same frequency ..(which both could be the happening with the multi 6000 hunts)...I always felt sorry for the engineers doing theater shows with a couple of dozen mics operating at the same time The harmonics were creating their own beat frequencies !. (I sure was glad when computers came along to do the math for me ! ) I'm betting a dollar the ML guys had a tough balancing act with this.....
  18. Welcome to the gang. Do you plan on doing any detecting / prospecting or just curious ? Have you geared up or still looking for advice ? Do you have someplace in mind or hoping to find maps with an X marking the spot ? LOL Ask about anything you want info on and Steve's guides will keep you busy too
