Popular Post mn90403
Quality items have been a bit scarce lately but I did find this nice ring (and 4 others). It is 13 g with the markings as you see. It has a 22 and a BO or a B0. I don't know what they mean. 15 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/20079-indian-silver/ Share on other sites

F350Platinum
Nice ring! Been looking through Indian silver makers' marks and haven't found that one, but it's a start: https://www.medicinemangallery.com/native-american-art/indian-jewelry/identify-native-american-indian-jewelry-hallmarks 3 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/20079-indian-silver/#findComment-215203 Share on other sites
Kaolin washer
so big it fell off the finger, ( the bigger and heavier the ring the better it falls off) 1 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/20079-indian-silver/#findComment-215208 Share on other sites
YubaJ
Hard to explain without a lot of words, but the ring has no characteristics of Indian silversmithing, and the turquoise is nothing special. But it's a great find and a strong design! 1 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/20079-indian-silver/#findComment-215223 Share on other sites
mn90403
Yuba, I share your skeptical view based on the lack of quality workmanship. Perhaps it is just a south of the border knockoff? It does not say .925. It only has a few stamps on it and the turquoise is rather inferior compared to the boldness of the ring. What do you call that type of 'cross?' Valens Legacy
Nice ring and a big one at that. Good luck out there and stay safe. 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/20079-indian-silver/#findComment-215249 Share on other sites
dogodog
That's a good one, I'd take that any day of the week. I like gold but there is just something about silver that makes me smile, pretty sure it did the same for you. Great job.
