Emergency Jump Starter / Charging System
MSC replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
One other thing on the topic, a very inexpensive Solar panel from Battery Tender can help keep your batter/s charged during the daytime. I have one and it works very well. -
Emergency Jump Starter / Charging System
MSC replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
One point, if you have a Diesel engine, Genius has a jump started made just for them and for different Diesel engine displacements that take in account engine size. -
I purchased a carbon fiber upper from Rob, I like it. It's sturdy, reduces weight and reduces the amount of metal on my detector. Reasonable cost, I think it is a good up-grade.

Findmall Closes All White’s Forums

I vote for the forums format, this one is great, never have and never will visit mindless social media. Shame that so many folks have been spent so much of their time on them. -
WOW !!!

Welcome Crustycoinfinder, good luck out there.

I know the university of Arizona can verify weather a stone is a meteorite or not, don't know if there is a place on the East coast that can do the same. Good luck, good find if it is.

What Detector Did You Buy In 2018 And Why?
MSC replied to Ridge Runner's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
Purchased the 7000 and the Pro find35, like them both. Keeping the 5000 for certain conditions. -
Wow, when I first joined it was $65 for 3 years, didn't know it had gone up that much. I joined LDMA just a month or so ago. I have found gold at the Gold Basin claim and at the Stanton claim but I can't say it's worth $90 for a year. You would have to visit a few claims to make it worth while. Good luck what ever you decide.
-
No joke, not all claims are worked out, new ones in the works. $90 is a bargain for 3 years of membership.

Good to her about the sP01, I have been considering purchasing one, waiting to hear more reports before I do though, Thanks.

Going to Quartzite area for two weeks starting next Friday the 19th with two friends. Be the first time spending that much time round there. Temperatures are getting cool enough, hope to find some gold.

There are enough things made in China, we need more things made by folks from the USA.
