Equiknox
Dear Friends .... Have purchased the Equinox 800 and Would like to know if anyone has had or used this coil and would like to share your thoughts on/of this coil. I realize that it has not been around all that long but perhaps some of Our Forum has had some hands on experiences with it? Any an all remarks would be appreciated. Considering on purchasing! Thank you very much! Co

W.Degenstien
I bought the 6" coil last summer and hit a real small park that is super trashy. Like i mean every 10"-12" is iron grunts. I had hit it hard with my AT Pro over the last 2 years with every coil size. Then i blasted it with the equinox standard 11" coil a few times. Once i got the 6" coil i hit it again and pulled out a Canadian large cent on edge and also found a 1908 pocket watch in a hole with a couple rusty nails. It definitely has its place in your tool bag. For a site like that that it is impossible to dig every target i am able to pick out the high squeakers among all the iron trash. It doesn't cover a lot of ground so i wouldn't use it on a full time basis but it sure helps out on those trash laden sites.
Mark Gillespie
That is some awesome finds. That is an old watch too. 17 jewels, wow. It might come to life with a little cleaning and fine work.
GoldEn
Hi I also have one and use it to look for really small coins in area I already detected with 11 and 15.(small mean very very little and thin silver and roman coins.) All coils have place and purpose to use. It respond to smallest targets great. Plenty fun and lot of targets. Not your every day detecing coil but for me good to have. Stay safe and dig everything. Health wise Believe it or not I can get as much enjoyment on reading the feedback from our Forum Members experiences. Than actually doing a dig myself, at times. Thanks for sharing.
