  1. Here is a photo of a meteorite. It looks similar to yours but as you can see on this the one side is all melted. Yours doesn't show a side that is melted like that. I would say yours is not a meteorite unfortunately.
  2. That could be hammered Indian copper. Could be 4000-6000 years old. I found a copper knife the Indians hammered out and is said to be 4000-6000 years old.
  3. Nice video. I liked it. The Tarsacci can find earrings. Nice silver earring.
  4. I don't like it in northern Michigan when it's 85-90F. I go out in the morning when it 60's to 70's.
  5. That's something we all want to know. I would consider trying one if I could do that.
  6. You could use 5 tones and customize it the way you want and what you want to hear and find. If you want micro gold you can set the tone break there and adjust the tones. Or if you don't want micro gold set it so you don't hear foil. You could turn it into a 3 tone. For no foil you can also use 2 tone and set so you don't hear foil and dig everything else. Park 2 and Gold 1 & 2 are the hottest modes on gold. I don't see why it can't be a park hunter for gold.
  7. It's interesting that the scoop is aluminum too. I wonder how well that will hold up. Should be very light. I hope it works well.
  8. I haven't used it but I like it. I like that the front has no holes and is light weight. I'll be getting one next spring. My main scoop right now is all stainless steel. 7.5" aluminum V-shaped bucket with 9/16" punched holesAngled back plate40" aluminum handle with foot bracket supportComfortable rubber hand grip
  9. Boost mode with 0 disc hits hard on small gold like my 10k white gold earring. Increase disc to 22 at nails and can't hit it. Gen and Micro modes can't hit it.
  10. With the Gold Kruzer I am switching back to Micro mode in the water and not use Boost mode. It did hit my 2 silver earrings I found recently better than Boost mode. I don't know why but it hit harder on them than Gen mode.
  11. The Impact that had Gen mode with disc isn't really an all metal mode. True all metal can't have disc. Still with the Impact Gen was my favorite mode.
  12. One thing Gen mode run very smooth. I have switched to that mode in the water sometimes because it's so quiet. My ground is mild and Boost mode is still very noisy but I can run sensitivity at 92. The only way to get rid of the noise is lower sensitivity. I also switch to micro mode if the Boost noise get to me. The noise also makes it harder to hear a targets. So I wonder if Boost mode is worth it when I'm water hunting.
  13. In the Gold Kruzer Gen mode isn't very deep either. Deep & Micro modes are deeper. With the T2/F75 the all metal mode is crazy powerful.
  14. With the Gold Kruzer in Deep mode with disc at 20 it takes out nails and it will not hit the 10K white gold earring. Lower disc to 0 and it hits the white gold earring great. The Gmx you can disc out nails and still hit the white gold earring. That's still pretty good for the Gold Kruzer and even better for the Gmx.
  15. I only tested the Gmx and Gold Kruzer on a 10k white gold earring and the Gmx w/ 5" concentric was the only one that could hit it. I know that doesn't help you much. Sorry.
  16. Post a picture. You're making me wish I hadn't sold my Gmx. I miss it. I sold it to quick. Now I'm using the Equinox 800 with the 6" coil. I'm going to sell my other Equinox 800 w/ 11" coil. I bought it in June this year and used it one time in the water with no leaks. Were you using the 6" concentric coil? That's a sweet coil.
