Fisher Impulse AQ Limited - First Impression

Recommended Posts

They used GG’s first on prototypes, then decided to go with their own design.

P.S. They are NOT GG knock-offs!

P.P.S. Say what you want about the M8 connectors, but being industry standard, you can hook up whatever headphones please you.

. The coil is much lighter than I thought it would be looking at it. It has that heavy epoxy look in pictures, but it is lighter and smaller in real life than I was anticipating. I'll have no problem with this in the water - I've run a CTX 3030 with 17" coil for full days at neck depths. This will be a piece of cake by comparison, especially as regards water resistance.

The coil is filled with epoxy mixed with glass bubbles. Density 0.8

Tested many types of earmuff. This OEM type coming from Switzerland were the best fit and the sturdiest mechanical design.

Internal mechanism = pure FTP-based design (Alexandre)

Glad to hear that the unit is well designed. Have some fun with it for a bit Steve. Everyone is glued to hearing how it performs.....no pressure 😄 Also nice to know that batteries are available, even if it's a limited supply at first (I'm assuming).
