Your Favorite Nugget.....

OK everybody.... let's see your favorite nugget that YOU found with your detector.  Doesn't have to be biggest, etc. but your personal favorite?  Maybe it's your biggest, or string gold, chevron type, or some character?  Only one nugget, your favorite.  Here's mine from Notellem creek.....

That’s a great looking nugget you got there.

The best nugget I like is the one my friend found with my detector at 28.7 grams.

I called it my Dragon Boat Nugget. I've found crystalline, dendritic, cubic, octahedral, wire, leaf, and every other type of nugget out there, but never one like this.

I sold it back in 2015 for spot along with a lot of other unique gold because I needed gas money to get back home. Many regrets. If someone here bought it from the dealer I sold it to, I'll definitely buy it back for spot. 🙂

without a doubt...pretty cool nugg!  Liberty Wa. has some unique looking gold I've thought about hitting as it isn't that far away from me?  Problem is I'd most likely waste much time by going in "blind".....

Big for me 🙂 Being rough like that is quite rare, usually water worn smooth nuggets here.

My favorite is a small perfectly formed nugget found in a bedrock crack with a Gold Bug II. It was a rather large crack with about a 1/4 pan of material. I scraped the sand and small rocks into my gold pan and washed it in the Salmon River of Northern California. Out of the black sand popped and golden nugget in the perfect size and shape of a cucumber seed. I garden a lot and was just amazed about this golden seed and how it must have been polished over the years into this shape. Just brilliant in contrast to the black sand around it. I think I still have it somewhere. If so, I’ll post a picture.
