A warm rainy day nothing frozen so I took the AQ to a fresh  water beach I have been to countless times.

After about an hour I heard what I was listening for a quick quiet targetI took one scoop and checked the hole it was still there,

now I become more interested as a lot of the time the weak sounds are small lead fishing weights which are down about 4 inches. 

a few more scoops and it was out.

 About how deep?

Judging from the picture, the coil is 12.5 inches, 13 to 14 inches? 

I've dug some crazy deep gold with the AQ.
