That is an interesting looking rock, I have seen some rocks around here that looked very close to that one. They turned out to be slag, so I hope that what you found is a meteorite. Good luck on your next hunt and I hope someone can help you verify that it is real.

Looks almost like brass, is it or is it iron. Any way it is a strange object, but what do you expect from some of the people in California.

I think that the Nox was jealous of being the last detector being used, but did find some nice finds for you. Drive safe home and have some fun in the fields. How much did the pendant weigh, and is it gold or silver.

Another nice hunt and it seems as if you are getting better with your new detector. Just remember every once in a while to turn on the NOX and talk to it so that it won't feel left out. Good luck on your next hunt and get some gold.

I have found that the 10x5 gets me closer to the fence that the 11 inch coil does. I have even been able to go under the fence if it is about 3 inches off the ground with no problem. I haven't found anything but new coins with it yet, but haven't given up hope yet. I have only been able to do any detecting but twice this year, and I know I will get a chance soon.
