Lot's of VLF options if you don't want the advantages of waterproofing.  The ATX would go bonkers in our parks coin and jewelry hunting.  Unless you want to dig it all?  In that case a Compadre would be a better choice.

I have the MXT All Pro and the GMT for that, The only reason I am looking at these new machines is for the new technology.

The MXT Pro is hard to beat.  Knowing the MXS is not a PI unit I was just wondering why you said you would rather buy the ATX? The ATX isn't new tech either.

Because the ATX is the best underwater/Duel purpose machine and although it does not quite have the Depth of the TDIs or the GPX it is a True multipurpose machine going from land to sea, You could say it is the MXT of PIs because you don't have all the tuning features of other PIs, you can turn it on and go without wondering if you have the right settings.

OK, this thread is for people who ARE interested in the MX Sport. The headphone connector is where it is and the production line is not going to stop now. Either accept it or move on.

Okay I've said all I'm going to say about MX Sport from White's. Now what I do want to know will it be out by the time the GPAA gold show in AZ ? I ask the same about the Racer 2. 

If you the powers that be in the know will you please let me know. I got money just burning a hole in my pocket for one of these detectors

I'd like to show up at the ICJM big show and hunt my way back home.

Those connectors are right out in the open!  That's going to be a breeze to change coils!  The head mount it meaty.  I don't see that breaking off.

I wonder what White's used for the screen and menu faceplate?  Gorilla Glass maybe?  I hope it's very durable and that they cycle tested it.
