First Silver With The Legend

Recommended Posts

Hunting an old park/public ground. Got a little variety 10,15d,18 wheats, 18d Buffalo, 02 Indian and an 02 barber dime. Everything was in that seven to eight inch range except the last coin I dug which is not pictured. I was heading for the car and got a deep coin signal it was barely audible but consistent with a four way hit. I’m thinking alright I’ve got a deep old coin and possibly another barber dime. I called my friend over and told him I had a deep coin signal. I couldn’t believe it. The coin was very deep and when I got it out I just said “well crap”. It was a memorial penny. How it got there…who knows but it sure busted my bubble. lol I was running the Legend in park 1, 60 tones, G disc pattern and 29 sensitivity. The Legend is proving to be a very capable and fun machine to use.

Doesn't get better than that. I went out today and got junk.

Matching Barber and IHP, what could be better? Nice coins.  Is that a 1918 buffalo? 👍

Yes, it’s a better date so that was good.

Very nice looking dime, the rest of them are in decent shape for what they are made of.

Long time in the ground so you got some nice saves.

Good luck on your next hunt.

Well I'm already out of likes for the day... I wonder how many we get... anyway, awesome coin finds and that Barber is beautiful, well done!
