Unbalanced? so now minelab engineers are required to make a metal detector that is balanced upside down and right side up.... lol. Blaming a metal detector because you fell and broke it....He'd be a great client to try and keep happy...I'll stop before I say something I'm not supposed to.. strick

I was hunting directly under power lines yesterday evening...backed down on the sensitivity 4-5 ...did another noise cancel and the machine ran nice and smooth while still hitting deep coins. I'm sure you will have no trouble selling your machine on the used market. strick

You have been killing it lately...nice work! strick

I kinda like you tube....say what you want type of place...but there are lots of haters over there.....I've had my nox for over a year now and used it exclusively during this time and nothing has broke..I dont know how guys are breaking arm cuffs unless they are trying to...at any rate good on you Simon for figuring it out...now the real question is should I sell my 3030? strick -
Minelab Vanquish, New Detector Soon To Be Released
strick replied to Sourdough Scott's topic in Minelab Metal Detectors
So I'll venture to say (by the tones and the blurred image) that it's a replacement for the ctx 3030...probably faster then the 3030 with good ID and disc at depth...something we have been asking for for a long time...I'd be guessing that 3030 sales have diminished with the nox...I for one hardly use mine but refuse to get rid of it for it's great Disc in park like settings.... strick -

I'm wondering why you waited so long....maybe I have no morals A lady the other day I was talking to said every time she passed an area where there was an old indian burial ground they would leave something for them..she said they left some tobacco..."you know they liked tobacco" she exclaimed with a serious look on her face....I replied back with an equally serious look on my face..."so you are leaving stuff for the dead indians" strick

Nice work GB I dont know if those mushrooms grow here in Calif...I love mushrooms but I'm too chicken to eat wild ones. I got into a jewerly cash one evening at a local park...but it was all mostly plated stuff. I figured someone stole it then went through it out on the grass. None of it was worth keeping. Looks like your got some nice ones though. strick -
Hell Ya!! exactly what I've been thinking... excuses.. excuses.... Minelab needs to get on this...Minelab is no different then a work horse in my mind.... I buy their stuff to find stuff....and there slacking big time in the GPZ extra coil department....someone needs to put the spurs and a good solid whip to them....get off your Arse minelab strick

Pocket Metal Detector Picosens

The Deus is one of my favorites and I still have mine although I dont use it as much as I did with the Nox being out. It is one of the best built detectors I've ever had the pleasure to use. It is not as effected by EMI as one might guess...the Nox suffers more in that regard. A month or so ago my buddy was using his Deus and Me the Nox and we were not far from some power lines and I had bad EMI problems. He got like 8 coins and I only got one or 2. The only thing I never liked about the Deus is the menu on the controller...we just never really clicked...I still find it confusing some times. The Nox is nice and simple. strick -
Test it...... maybe it's platinum strick

Minelab Customer Service - No Joke
strick replied to Gerry in Idaho's topic in Minelab Metal Detectors
Well thats good to hear...couple years ago it took them about 3 months to get my CTX back to me. Probably would have taken six months if I had not complained to you and then you called them (kelyco) and got the ball rolling. I got a call the next day from the dude fixing it. Before that I had left at least 4 messages without a return phone call...This is another good reason to buy from a reputable dealer who buys lots of their machines. strick
