  1. Great finds and glad that you saved them from being lost forever. Good luck on your next hunt and stay safe out there.
  2. Nice ring that you saved from the ground. Good luck on your next hunt.
  3. Nice finds and looks like you had a good hunt even if it was a short one. Good luck on your next hunt and stay safe out there.
  4. Stop complaining about those nice finds, some of us have not been able to even get out to detect. Nice hunt and good luck on your next outing.
  5. To this day I still have no interest in Mexico because of the corruption and gangs. Once in a while I have to work in their waters and hate all the paperwork and inspections that they want to do. With the right amount of money they always leave you alone, but I always loose money when on those jobs. I have no reason to go there just to hunt gold or anything else as there is always better here in the states.
  6. As long as you keep the scoop behind you it will work fine. I had a similar problem when working a bank at a creek that I was checking out once. Hope this helps.
  7. Great find and glad it now see's the light of day again. What was the ID on it if you remember. Good luck on your next outing.
  8. George, I never knew that you worked at a clothing store. Happy retirement, and just maybe you will try to relax and stop measuring up people for new trousers.
  9. Another great hunt in your books, and I am sure that you will be hitting that place again in the near future with Chase. Good luck and stay safe out there.
  10. Great finds and glad you had some fun out there. Hope the waves do you more good this weekend and you save some more. Good luck and stay safe out there.
  11. Now George, your going to have a whole house of detectors mad at you for bringing another home. Good luck with it and hope it brings many new finds for you.
  12. Crispy, welcome to the forum and glad to have you here with us. I am sure that we will be reading and seeing some of your adventures in the near future on here. Please let us know when you also find the buried treasures on Oak Island, just kidding. Good luck and good hunting.
  13. Happy birthday and many more to come. Glad that you had fun and hope your trip home was good. Good luck on your next outing and stay safe out there.
  14. Thanks for the read as it was interesting, I hope that someday they do find it to be true.
  15. Well you know that the RC cola is a southern thing and I was trying to make it a nice meal for you with plenty to drink. I know that the RC has been in the garage for several years and should look close to the can you showed, wit just a little bit of rust forming on it. AS far as the $19.00 a month you can mail it to the address I have sent you. Thanks for sponsoring me this month.
  16. Nice finds and great saves for you. Good luck out there and good hunting.
  17. Very nice looking coins, you really nailed that hunt. Good luck on your next hunt and stay safe.
  18. Another nice hunt with a great find for you. Glad to see the NOX in your hands agian and I told you she would come through for you. Take her out a few more times and see what else you find, like you said the D2 and NOX is so equal in your soil. Good luck on your next outing and stay safe out there.
  19. George, I am truly sorry that you are so down on your luck and if you drop by I would be glad to cook up some Spam and eggs for you. I can also make a tray of biscuits with some jam and butter to go with them. Before you leave to go home I can make you a few baloney sandwiches for you trip. Just let me know if you want cheese on them and other condiments that you would like. I think I also have an RC Cola to go with it so you will have a drink. Good luck and I hope that you land back on your feet soon.
  20. Great finds and it takes the words out out of my mouth. I just don't know what to say on these beautiful finds. The carvings look native with the spear head that you found and several hundred years old. Museum pieces for sure.
  21. I have both wood and carbon fiber handles, the wood handle I bought from a local farm supply and the carbon fiber was given to me from a boat dealer. The boat dealer had a customer want a longer shaft for his trolling motor and when you take off the old shaft it will ruin them on one end. So I can tell you that they both work just as well as one would hope, but the carbon fiber is lighter. I filled the carbon fiber with spray foam so it will float the handle a little in case I drop it. The lakes and creeks around her are unforgiving if you drop something. Good luck on your decision.
  22. Cleaning a coin is always ones preference on how they feel it should look like. Grandfather wanted to get a couple of IH's cleaned, but he passed away before he could get it done. They are still sitting in some mineral oil on his desk and I just don't know what to do with them. Good luck on your decision on whether to clean or not to clean.
  23. But I was talking about a matching set, and then you may have to get earrings to go with it if you do. Nice gift you made for him.
  24. Very nice finds for sure and to put them together like that is brilliant. What a great conversation piece you made from them. Now get back to work and make a necklace to go with it.
  25. Great hunt and I also use the 10x5 on my 800. I found that I can be under the fence and find plenty of silver with it. I believe that you are going to enjoy this coil on the 800 when you go out. Good luck and good hunting.
