  2. Great finds and a nice little ring to boot. Happy hunting on your next trip.
  3. Great finds and a good hunt. What do you mean fictional character? I've read all of his posts for almost 6 months now, and just who could take such great pictures if he is not real?
  4. Nice picture and the coffee sounds great, wish I were there. Stay safe and be healthy.
  5. Riccardo Glad you found the best site on the internet with people who will help you and share their knowledge with you. Please stay safe and happy hunting.
  6. Nice finds and a good hunt. When I get to feeling better I am going to hit the parks again, but for now I can't even pick up my detector. Found out that I have a bulging disc in my neck, and I tore my left trap muscles.
  7. There are places that I need help in getting permission to hunt also, but what you done was good. I am going to keep my eye on this thread to see if there might be something that I can use also.
  8. That was a very hard hunt, but ended with a very nice find. Congratulations on your find and keep up the good work.
  9. Great finds Norm, good luck on your next hunt when you can get back out there again.
  10. Welcome Mark I hope to hear more stories of the finds that you recover. The 800 is a great system and I know that you will enjoy it.
  11. Great hunt, now see if your son wants to go again tomorrow and get the rings and deeper coins.
  12. Please tell me that you did not infect the poor turtle! Great job on taking the time to better your skills and finding that small gold.
  13. When I first got my 800 I thought I could just go out and find anything according to the numbers. I had tried several different settings like you have and to my surprise found that the factory settings worked the best. In my yard I use Park 1, sense 18-20, and make sure that I have ground balanced and noise cancelled. This took me a few days to learn to what I was hitting on as nails, foil, and aluminum have several different numbers that willl show up. Take some coins, space them out in your yard, and go find them to see what their numbers are. Good luck and don't get discouraged.
  14. Sorry Steve I don't know how I missed it. Thanks for the information as you are the second person I know that has used this product. I have been told in the past by someone else that it is really good stuff, and now that you say it is so I will order some.
  15. Great finds for the both of you, keep it up and best of luck in the future.
  16. Under the bell in the upper left hand side, and the gold is not that visible even if I blow it up.
  17. Good finds for your first trip out. Your name sounds familiar are you from Illinois?
  18. Wish I had some good beaches around here, I would be hitting them every weekend! Great job and keep it up.
  19. Very nice finds and some good detecting on your part, good luck on your next hunt.
  20. Very nice finds and I believe that Hardtimehermit has found the maker. Great hunt an dgood luck on your next one.
  21. The building upon closer look seems to be something else. Looks like a flying saucer, a sword, a bear, either 047 or Q47, and then a line. The more I look at it the more it looks like something else than a normal button. I hope that this gets identified soon as it's driving me nut's.
  22. I did the test on my ring and it showed up as a 24, my wedding ring that I wear showed a 12. My wedding ring is a 10K 2 tone gold ring with some small diamonds. My old ring that looks close to yours shows 10 k also, I think that the reason it rings up differently is because it has the hollow area in the top. It does have the 10K mark on the inside towards the top. Hope this helps.
