  1. Welcome to the forum and you have found some of the nicest people in metal detecting at this site. I am sure that we can learn something from you and your skills and will enjoy reading about some of your finds. Please include pictures of your hunts as some of us do like to see new areas and the finds. When I was in Colorado with my grandfather we did a lot of panning and some detecting for gold. I know that the equipment you have can find some really nice nuggets our there. Good luck and happy hunting.
  2. I can send you one of mine if need be, or you can come here and dig your own. A church I go to have come up with several for me, and I think there are more to be found. Very nice half on your last hunt, one of these days I will get one of those. Good luck on your next hunt.
  3. Thanks for the story and pictures of this wonderful hunt. I thank you for recovering the lost history from the ground as I know it takes a lot of work to cover that much ground. Nice finds for a great person, good luck on your next hunt.
  4. Great find and save on the ring, I guess the guy that lost it will now listen to his girlfriend to ask for directions. Nice to see you testing the shaft and getting to know it and how it performs. I will be watching for the full report when you are done.
  5. Nice finds GB and congrats on the finds. Nobody will ever know how the token found it's way there unless a relative shows up to claim it. Good luck on your next outing.
  6. Great finds over the years with a lot of bending over to dig them. I hope that you have many more years of detecting left due to the back and knees going to go out soon. Just kidding but I know that getting up and down from all the digging has my back hurting sometimes and I am still young. Good luck on your next outings.
  7. Great find and not in to bad of shape. Good luck on your next hunt.

  12. Great finds and glad to watch the digs. Wish you more luck on your next outing. Past few days have been cold and rainy here with a dusting of snow. Don't know if I will be able to get out for a hunt until it warms up.
  13. Tony, Welcome to the forum and please share some of your stories and finds with us. We enjoy reading and seeing the adventures. 16. Nice finds for sure, but where's the gold. Just kidding and good luck on your next hunt.
  17. Nice concept for the wheels, and after reading what you stated for the distance that you have to travel what about this. Make a sled that has retractable wheels like they do for airplanes in snowy areas. That way when you are on pavement you are using wheels, and can switch to sled mode when you hit the beach. With the right sled it would even be able to go through mud. Just a thought. Was the girl in the bottom picture your wife, if not is she available? Good luck.
  18. Beautiful finds and glad they were recovered and not lost in history. Good luck and happy hunting.
  19. Very nice hunt with some great looking nuggets, glad to see that you and your friends had some fun and some luck. Good luck on your next outing, as it may just be the right therapy for you.
  20. Nice looking nuggets that you are finding. I wish you good luck in the next year to do even better.
  21. Welcome to the forum and we are glad to have your knowledge with us. Please share some of your finds with us along with some pictures so we all can share the adventure with you. My grandfathers brother lived in Pendleton OR and we always had fun detecting and panning for gold there. Good luck and good hunting.
  22. Another nice hunt for you. You should be able to remove the gold plating from the watch and cuff link and recover at least 2-3 grams of gold. Good luck on your next outing.
