Winter Season Wrap Up

Recommended Posts

With summer on it’s way, its  back to work for me at my seasonal job. ? But the combination of Minelab’s Gold Monster 1000, GPZ 7000 and the warm, sunny weather of the desert southwest all made for a nugget shooter’s paradise this past winter. Super-sensitive VLF technology along with the deep punching power of ZVT made finding gold of all sizes, types and depths a wonder to behold - and all from old patches.

Total weight: 6.5 ounces troy.

Great Winter, I’d say - kudos once again!

Very nice haul for anyone as dedicated as you are.

As Phoenix said - we’ll done.

NICE!!!

My back hurts just looking at all that rock.  If you look at the picture long enough the pain goes away!

Doing some sloppy arithmetic:

6.5 toz. ~ $9000 (premium for those larger chunks offsetting the <100% purity and smelting recovery costs?).

150 pieces (est.) ~ $60/piece.

100 holes dug for every piece of gold ~$0.60/dig.

So much for there not being any gold left....  (But if someone doesn't reign you in, that will soon be true!)
