Help! I Cant Stop Digging!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone. Heres a few photos of some of my new friends. Nothing compared to those Aussie nuggets but some gold at least. All park finds and a few relics.  I only was able to get out nugget hunting once this year but hope to get out more in 2017. The 7000 is getting rusty.....Thanks for a great resource Steve!

  • The title was changed to Help! I Cant Stop Digging!

Magic presentation on the digging tool, ground & grass, highlights those top finds.

Great digs Strick.

My park finds are only a few coins.

Very impressive!

I notice there aren't many coins in there, do you discrim out anything above a penny and just concentrate on digging a lot of likely gold signals mostly?

Thanks fellas!

Nordic -I was trying to find something to prop the rings up and I had just been out that morning in the rain and mud and there was my digging tool so I just started shoving the rings into it...worked pretty good I thought.

Jasong- Lots of coins being dug... I really just dig everything that hits good. In the good range of targets only certain very small foil targets 12-01 12-02  get rejected on the ctx and thats about it. When I get really tired sometimes  I'll start rejecting zinc pennies.  The CTX is very good about not digging things like twist off Corona bottle caps that corrode. The 14k Mens wedding band in the 3rd photo is almost 8 grams and hit in the 12-23 range on the CTX...which could be a very corroded zinc penny or a large pull tab...
